Szymon Kowalski started playing the piano at the age of five.
He has won numerous musical awards dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin,
Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Karol Szymanowski, Artur Rubinstein.
Alumnus from the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice,
Poland.
He
took part at the
numerous master piano courses given by such eminent pedagogues
as Ryszard Bakst, Paweł Checinski, Andrzej Jasinski,
Wiktor Mierzanow, Jozef Stompel, Tatiana Szebanowa.
He has developed his piano and musical talent actively by
cooperating with outstanding artists. He has given a
numerous concerts in the whole Europe and performed at the many
international music festivals.
For years he is actively involved in propagating and
popularising classical piano music among children and youth. He
has given a series of piano workshops and educational concerts.
Initiator and editor of the radio programme called “ABC of
Piano Music”.
Large concerto repertoire includes
pieces from Baroque and Classicism through Romanticism and
Impressionism to Contemporaneity.
